kindness overflows

sometimes the kindness overflows and then your heart pops wide open and you could just relish the moment forever. last night while doing valentines for his class my oldest boy made three extra valentines, one for me, one for his daddy and one for his little brother, after giving us our cards he then kissed each of us on the forehead with such love that you could see it seeping out of him or maybe it was me it was seeping out of me. it's times like this when i think, just maybe i'm doing something right.

one child spreads feces all over the bathroom and himself, needs a shower, dog jumps in shower with him, two other children want to play in the shower with the dog, one wants out, all three children get a shower along with a good smelling dog. enough for one day, we go for ice cream....
